From custom daywear to elevated formal garments, every design is made-to-measure and crafted with intentional fit, balance, and attention to detail.

Custom Design Process

Every custom garment begins with a conversation. Our custom design process is intentionally structured to ensure your garment is thoughtfully planned, expertly fitted, and handcrafted specifically for you.

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry

Complete the Custom Design Inquiry Form to tell us about your project, event, and design vision. Every inquiry is personally reviewed to determine whether it is a good fit for our studio and current production schedule.

If your project seems like it will fit into our schedule, you will receive a Custom Design Overview along with an invitation to schedule a complimentary Virtual Custom Design Consultation.

Step 2: Virtual Custom Design Consultation

During this complimentary virtual meeting, we will discuss your vision, event details, desired timeline, and investment expectations. This is an opportunity for us to answer your questions, review your project in greater detail, and explain what to expect throughout the custom design experience.

Following the consultation, approved clients will be invited to schedule their Custom Design Development Appointment.

Step 3: Custom Design Development Appointment

Investment: $150

This appointment is where we begin bringing your vision to life. During your appointment, we will:

• Review your design inspiration and ideas

• Discuss silhouette, construction, and design details

• Explore fabric preferences

• Take professional measurements

• Develop a plan for your custom garment

Following your appointment, our studio will begin developing your custom design.

Step 4: Design Development

Over the next approximately two weeks, we will:

• Develop original design concepts

• Prepare design sketches

• Source fabric samples

• Plan the construction of your garment

• Prepare your custom project presentation

Step 5: Project Approval Meeting

During your Project Approval Meeting, we will present your completed design concepts and curated fabric samples for review.

If you choose to move forward, you will:

• Approve your selected design

• Review and sign your Custom Design Agreement

• Review your Project Proposal

• Submit the required Production Retainer

Once your agreement has been signed and the production retainer has been received, your project will officially enter our production schedule.

Step 6: Pattern Development & Mock-Up

Your custom pattern will be drafted, and a mock-up garment will be created to establish fit, proportion, and construction before your garment is made in the final fabric.

Step 7: Mock-Up Fitting

During your mock-up fitting, we will evaluate the fit, refine the pattern, and finalize the construction details.

Once the mock-up has been approved, final materials will be ordered (if needed), and construction of your garment will begin.

Step 8: Garment Construction

Your garment is handcrafted using the approved materials and finalized pattern.

Additional fitting appointments may be scheduled as needed depending on the complexity of your garment.

Step 9: Final Fitting & Pickup

Your completed garment will be professionally finished and prepared for your final fitting. After any final adjustments have been completed and the remaining balance has been paid, your garment will be ready for pickup.

Timeline

Custom garments typically require 16–24 weeks from project approval to completion.

This timeline allows for pattern development, mock-up creation, fittings, garment construction, and final finishing.

Clients are encouraged to begin the custom design process as early as possible. Rush availability is limited and subject to studio approval.

Final pricing is determined after design development and is based on the complexity of the design, construction requirements, materials selected, embellishments, and production timeline.

A production retainer is required before pattern development and garment construction begin.
